42 is by everyone and everything, for everyone and everything. It was first released on an October Friday, the 20th day, of the 10th month, in the 2000th year as measured by western cultures.

By asking the big question of 'why do we exist', and by questioning everything, the scribe finds our view of life only taking in one part of its spectrum. This is true of most cultures but more so of the western world's. So, what is the meaning of life, the universe and everything? Well 42 of course.

If you are interested in questioning everything, even everything you find here, and in questioning why there is no satisfactory answer, because there are no answers and only questionable questions, then let yourself read on.

Let me assure you that, everything written here and in the texts has been written as true to oneself as is possible. It is up to each unique individual what to think of it and how it fits into their universe. There are no right answers, there is no perfection, there is no pure good, there is no pure evil.

This writing is not an end. There is no end, nothing is ever finished. You are invited to let yourself do with the texts as you truly want.

42 will change as everything's state of consciousness changes over time. All the different versions of 42 that are written will be posted to the site as it progresses throughout its life cycle. The thinking behind 42 will also be posted as nothing is perfect and, in our search, everything is questionable.

This is yours, it is written by you and for you, the author is merely the singer of the song, a unique voice of everything's one consciousness, nothing more.

Notes:
The virginal version of 42 is being re-read by others to help highlight any misunderstandings and semantic errors. When you read 'balance' in the virginal script, it may help to think of balance as meaning part of a spectrum of everything, to near infinity, on which things resolve at different points for each unique consciousness. That is, consciousness is progressing from its own unique peception of everything, to almost totally knowing the One universal spectrum and then thinking further.

The scribe, using language as his tool, to put thoughts and feelings into the knowledge base of the universe is prone to error. This is the nature of evolution. It is not mistaken to err, rather you are using one's learned knowledge as best as one can. From others, we learn new knowledge and correct one's errors, we reach for a wider and truer universal spectrum of perception.

The scribe often mixes up the terms consciousness, conscience and conscious in the virginal script. Please pardon the errors. 42 now sees it as follows, and version 2 will reflect this:
