Walsall Community Arts Team

Representatives from Walsall's newly-formed Disability Arts Technology Group, web designer Linda Ashford and Community Arts Development Officer Maxwell Bailey will present two projects:

X@changes, the WCAT website that highlights the work of community arts within the Borough of Walsall.

The Ramp, a disability-led website that highlights the creative use of the arts and disabilities within the Borough of Walsall.

Simon Jennings (National Library for the Blind): Web Accessibility

Thirty-minute presentation/workshop offering practical advice and useful resources for anybody who has already produced or is considering producing web pages. Attendees will learn key points to enable them to make their web pages accessible to all, with specific reference to the visually impaired. Such measures will enhance the site's general usability and generally not affect artistic presentation.
