Skylight Circus Arts
A 'taster' session of circus skills for young people. Come and have a go at tightrope, stilts, juggling, unicycles, walking globe and diablo. Skylight Circus Arts, from Rochdale, find new and exciting ways to use circus in performance, training, education and community work. Last year's workshop attendees were booked with Skylight to run an eight-week residency at the National Youth Arts Festival in Ilfracombe. Maximum 25 participants - book early to avoid disappointment.

Vocal Workshop with Mary S. Keith Bring your choir! Exercise your vocal cords in a fun and informal way. Drawing on songs, sounds and structures from around the world, the session could include Bulgarian Hollering, Inuit Hocketing and Japanese Hogaku! A wonderful workshop with many a spine-tingling harmony. Maximum of forty participants.

Exploring how movement relates to the creation of contemporary dance. AFROCAT's main objective is to create a style which reflects our current multicultural society, using a combination of African and contemporary dance/art forms.
