Community Choirs Celebrate Together!

The afternoon will include 'bits and pieces' from the following choirs:

• Manchester Community Choir
• Breathing Space
• Escobar Choir Oldham International Choir
• Stockport Sign Language Choir
• Trinity Ancoats Gospel Choir
• Blackburn Peoples Choir

An informal opportunity to perform and share your voices and to make new friends! Unfortunately due to space this event is limited to the choirs involved and those taking part in the morning workshop with Mary S. Keith - so get booking!

PRESCAP (Preston Community Arts Project) have worked with many groups using hand-painted billboards. This form of artwork can be seen by thousands of passers by. Join in and create a special Community Arts Festival billboard. It might just appear at the end of your street!

Food for Thought writing workshop

Food for Thought is a celebration of new writing by young Asian people in Greater Manchester. Contact will be running a free half-day writing workshop on Saturday 9 October. There are 25 places available for young people between the ages of 13 and 30.
