Women in music/technology conference
An informal opportunity to meet, share and to discuss the following issues:
- how women use technology and multimedia in music
- how can we get more women involved?
- what courses are available?
- how can it benefit our workshops?
- how technology can enable physically disabled to access music
Speakers will include Anne Bourner (MANCAT), Lowena Faull (MITER), Heidi Manning, Kate Milestone and others tbc.

A hands-on workshop teaching the basics of DJing to women in the community. Each session will run for approximately 1 hour.

Workshop with Claire Mooney
Experienced community musician and performer, Claire will run a short music and song-writing session where the group will work together to write an original song (which may be performed at the women_s performance night). No experience necessary, but if you have an instrument please bring it along with you. Be prepared to join in, share and have fun! Maximum number of participants 8.
